Unsustainable, Transparency is Key & Most Aren’t Getting It

In 2015, the average annual premiums for employer-sponsored health insurance are $6,251 for single coverage and $17,545 for family coverage (Exhibit A). Each rose 4% over the 2014 average premiums. During the same period, workers’ wages increased 1.9% and inflation declined by 0.2%.2 Premiums for family coverage increased 27% during the last five years, the same rate they grew between 2005 and 2010 but significantly less than they did between 2000 to 2005 (69%) 2015 Kaiser Report

Going along this same path doesn’t produce results, if you want results do something different.  2015 has been a great year – 100% of our clients reduced their group health premiums between 10%-30% because the C suite got involved and did something different and no employee reduced their benefits.  You don’t know, what you don’t know.  It’s time to find out and have some transparency.
